Kinblethmont is a new gallery set in a Victorian country house, positioned in mature woodland in rural Angus, 4 miles north of Arbroath, built on an ancient and historic site. The south facing, lower ground floor has been converted into three art galleries and the gardens are ideal for sculpture display
Jonathan Hood
Jonathan Hood was born in 1957 in Edinburgh. He studied Drawing and Painting at the Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee from 1976-1979 and at L’Ecole des Beaux Arts, Paris in 1979-1980. He is a full time painter but teaches as well in workshops and night classes. He has exhibited in Dundee, Aberdeen, Glasgow, London, Dunkeld, Woodstock, and Bridge of Allen.
Robert Jackson
Robert Jackson studied at the Central Technical Institute, Watford in 2000-2001. He then studied for his Fine Art BA (Hons) at the National Collage of Art and Design, Dublin in 2001-2005. the following year he took his masters at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, Dundee. He has exhibited extensively in Waterford, Dublin, Galway, Edinburgh and Dundee. Robert Jackson currently tutors, part time, both at Dundee Contemporary Arts Print Studio and the Carse Association for Continuing Education.
Alexander Muir
Alexander Muir is from Dundee In 1945 he became a student at Dundee College of Art where he was a star student of MackIntosh Patrick.
In 1950 he received a Diploma of Art and an RSA travelling scholarship, then studied until his National Service in 1951-53.
Maggie Milne
Maggie has over twenty-five years experience as a professional artist specializing in portraiture and the human figure. Dundee based, she works in pastels, watercolour, gouache, conté, pencil and oils.
Lovely way to spend the afternoon, highly recommended if you ever happen to be in this area. Wonderful way to find some lesser known artists.

enjoyed this. Especially Jonathan Hood, Alaxander Muir and especially
Maggie Milne . I like her nude. I like the way she dissected the image
with line and color but never lost the beauty if the image. I did
something like that once as an experiment only my subject was a
stallion. I used color pencil, ink, watercolor pencil and watercolor.
