Art, Birthday paintings,

Art Sunday; Birthday paintings.
Last week Nemo had his Birthday and this week Deb and Narice will both have birthdays
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALL ……….
And………….to celebrate, here are some birthday paintings.
The very best of all has to be the famous Marc Chagall painting simply titled ‘Birthday’, I love this painting, this is Chagall at his best, free, fanciful, a little dreamlike and  totally beautiful. Is this charming lover ‘bending over backwards’ to please his lovely lady on her birthday??, He has given her flowers and cake before moving from behind in for a little surprise birthday kiss………….a charming painting.

And to remind us all of friends with birthdays……….here are a few more.

First Baby's Birthday by Frederick Daniel Hardy painted in 1867

John Singer Sargent, Fete Famillale The Birthday Party 1885
Leroy Neiman, President s birthday party Grandmothers Birthday Cake Fritz Sonderland.
And here are a couple of more contemporary 'Birthday' paintings
Birthday Cake by John Vander Stelt

Here's one by Delia Smith
And last a colourful pavement celebration by Portchie
HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Happy Birthday to everyone celebrating theirs this week. I, too, liked the Chagall painting the best.
