Poetry and Art, Lewis Carroll

(above cayman by ariane urwick)
This has been a difficult week. The bigger better and much improved Multiply upgrade had proved a little difficult for some people. The gremlins have been out to play in force, they have wrecked havoc every where. And so I thought a little light relief was needed, who needs serious at a time like this. ??
(Mr Crok by Benji)

How doth the little crocodile...
poem by Lewis Carroll

(The carpet crocodile by debbie Grey)
How doth the little crocodile
Improve his shining tail,
And pour the waters of the Nile
On every golden scale!
(a crocodile by Joel benjamin)
How cheerfully he seems to grin
 How neatly spreads his claws,
And welcomes little fishes in,
With gently smiling jaws!

(The Croc by Patricio Marcelo Balanovsky)

Lewis Carroll always had such a vivid imagination in his characters...they seem to jump from the pages when reading! Fun! (Great illustrations as well!)

Wonderful relief....yes, things can get out of hand very quickly. This was most welcome. Loved the drawings. Smiles.

haha, this reminds me of 'Snappy' the little crocodile. Remember that? I actually bought the single for someone I knew. That was so silly that little song, though not as bad as that green frog guy going 'beep beep' with his little 'beep' beeped out...hehe

I know one thing about crocs which is they can't stick out their tongues like that last little fellow. They've got sharp teeth too. LOL. A big crocodile smile
